I’m so glad my previous photographer cancelled on me last minute, or else I would never have had the pleasure to meet Henry and Michele!!! They are an amazing team and made everyone at my wedding so calm and relaxed, my husband (who hates taking photos) had so much fun, and it’s all thank to you guys! They were patient and so hard working, and really made the day enjoyable thank you so much!!! I know my photos/video are going to be outstanding!!
I love Port Alfred weddings. For some reason they are always memorable and a lot of fun. The Port Alfred wedding of Sinead and Tim was no different. A lovely couple indeed we felt very privileged to spend their wedding day with them. We arrived in Port Alfred to find a a very busy crew of ladies getting ready for the day as well as en entire film crew from Mnet. They were there to film an episode of Wedding Bashers. A series where a panel of celebrities rate your wedding. Viewers then get to vote for their favorite wedding with the winners obviously receiving a lovely prize at the end. It was rather tricky at times to get the shots we needed as we had so many other camera operators and crew to avoid. And naturally they want to get their shots as well. But I love working with other photographers and it never really interferes with how we work. It just means you have to be considerate at times as you all have a ob to do.
The ceremony was held on the banks of the Kowie river with Sinead arriving with her entourage of ladies on a boat. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony and afterwards we headed of to the West Pier to take the bridal photos. Here is where having so many crew really became tricky as the light was fading fast and everyone needed to get their wedding shots. But again everyone got what they needed and we got some stunning wedding images of the beautiful bride and her very dapper looking new husband.
The ceremony was a blast with great speeches and plenty of dancing. Congratulations to the Sinead & Tim and I think your Port Alfred wedding should win Wedding Bashers!
