I love Morgans Bay, no I REALLY love Morgans Bay. And this is where Bandela & Unathi had their incredibly perfect wedding. I know it’s not quite the Transkei but it’s close enough. Epic beaches, radical steep cliffs, majestic river mouths & rich & wild vegetation. What’s not to love about a Morgans Bay wedding.
"Their professionalism and delivery is out of this world!!! They went an extra mile: We paid them for 8 hours and they were at my wedding for +10 hours (They came early and left late). The pictures are magnificent and the video is breath-taking. Thank you for your service Guys."While Unathi was being treated to a soothing and ultimately relaxing spa treatment myself and Michele scouted out the beach for various photographic location. No shortage there. And after getting better acquainted with the area it was lights camera action. Unathi was pretty calm with a underlying fault-line of excitement reading about 7 on the Richter scale each time two plates shifted. The weather was epic with not a breath of wind. And according to the staff at the Morgans Bay Hotel they have never had to move a wedding indoors because of bad weather. Nice to know if you’re a bribe set on getting married on the beach and you want seriously good odds of that actually happening. Then I recommend you bet on a Morgans Bay wedding. So after photographing the the bride & groom and their respective posies it was showtime or rather wedding time. A stunning little Unathi walked down the isle with her father to be handed over to her new husband. And Bandela looking as cool as a french cucumber chilling out in a Nordic glacier, was ready to accept. What a great couple to photograph. So much fun and just so into each other. At times I think they forgot that we were there. For the bridal photographs we decided to stay on the beach in from of the Morgans Bay Hotel as the weather looked like it was changing and a mist was pulling in. So going up the cliffs that overlook Morgans Bay would have been pointless. But the beach was great, it changes from a rocky shore to a long winding sandy beach. With large jutting headlands hugging either side. We got some some really wonderful moments photographed having, had a of fun and then it was wedding reception time. Hats off to the staff at The Morgans Bay Hotel. Your venue, your catering, and your friendliness were superb. I can highly recommend the Morgans Bay wedding experience to any bridal couples who want a hassle free wedding day. Thanks Unathi & Bandela for making us part of your Morgans Bay wedding day. You guys were great to photograph and video. Best of luck on the adventure that lies ahead…. and remember – it’s a crazy world out there so look after each other.
