As a Jeffreys Bay photographer I always enjoy photographing weddings in my own area. The wedding of Jason & Vaila was a very magical wedding to be part of. It took place on a perfect summers day & was hosted at The Rose Barn in Jeffreys Bay. We started shooting the boys getting ready just down the road. Excitement was building from long before we arrived. After capturing some great moments we shot of to catch the girls. They were all doing their bridal preparations at The Ros Barn. We arrived to find that unique kind of excitement & nerves that only really appear in families on a wedding day. The bridal photos I got came out beautifully and Michele as always captured those amazing moments that make her wedding videos sing.
This was the third wedding that I was privileged enough to be the photographer for the Bigara family. It made shooting all the family & guests quite easy as I already knew a fair bit about them. And the aim in my wedding photography, actually for all my photography is to capture who someone really is. So often I will just observe someone for a period before I even think of picking up my camera to take a shot.
The wedding ceremony was held outside and despite the stiff breeze, everything went perfectly. After sealing the occasion with a kiss we started on the family & bridal photography. I love doing a Jeffreys Bay wedding. Not just because I live here and don’t have to travel ( I love to travel by the way ). But more because I know the area & we really do have great places for wedding photography. The beaches are great but there is also so many more options in and around Jeffreys Bay.
So I love being a Jeffreys Bay photographer.
After the bridal photography it was time for the wedding reception. And it was amazing to say the least. Well done Jason & Vaila on your fantastic Jeffreys Bay wedding. And thank you for letting us capture all the amazing wedding memories.
